Hi guys!!! Its been a while!  :)

Just a life update, you probably stumbled on my info section of my profile that I NOW GRADUATED FROM UNIVERSITY!!!!  I thank God so much for helping me learn about myself through Him and realizing the need to be independent from my family but dependent on Him.

Boy have these past 4 years been amazing from what I took but also a bit sad as I head to a separate path from my friends as we head to the work/real world field. I finally got my license after the past 3 years I said I would...

One of the hardest things after graduating was indeed the "What's next?"
  :?
I had plans as an idea I would like to do but I had to keep it open in case things change since who knows what God will do right?
Finding a job within my field was the hardest part and discouraging at times when I submit an application anywhere because I never worked before. I did community service and a internship but it wasn't enough for most places and it really got me depressed. I was really challenged to trust God even when hope seemed slim and negative/false thoughts were coming to mind. It was hard thinking about paying my loans with no job at the time. No one wants their family to be suffering in debt especially after the hard work of College they helped payed for you. (I even thought about how being self-employed would be by a video by Baylee-Jae who's a self-employed artist in Canada GO FOLLOW HER, SHE'S AMaZING!! )

Now that I have my first job, I'm enjoying it being surrounded by young people like myself but nothing will ever come close to the life-long friends I made at Vanguard University  It's interesting to think you're a barista for your first job even if coffee is not your favorite type of drink but I'll see what God will teach me there (At least for me).  :)

This summer has been figuring the balance to be realistic and knowing God will open doors for me to the ministry He has called me to in situations that I found myself thinking I had slim to no chances. You can pray for God to give you a good job and hope to get accepted for grad school somewhere but put in your own effort and not expect things to come like *poof*  God is no genie.

With that wrapping up....
I am catching up on uploading stuff here at DA and got other social media sites you can follow me if you want to see what I'm up to.  Lots of cosplay ideas coming up and some I'm looking forward to do. Can't wait to dig into cosplay more now that school is done! I'll still show pictures of my life and any events I attended Cons or not. Glad to have some free time to do what I wasn't able to now. (Working part-time to full time can still be as busy to school but I'm trying my best to upload my content here and there)

God bless you all and take care!  :)

P.S I thought about changing my username for a while now that I'm trying to promote myself and what I can do. Hopefully I can get a better job in the Fine Arts or collaborate with other creatives I hope to collab with. I like Ninawitchgrl but I'm not in High school anymore. I want to have a better brand name I thought for myself now that I'm in my early twenties (kinda feeling old...) and hopefully it isn't taken.

Hi everyone hope summer has been going well for you all. Just to welcome my new watchers and a update for my previous watchers. Since my time at Vanguard gets busy, I'm still very behind on uploading my photos from Junior Year.  As some of you noticed I'm uploading my first Photoshoot with a friend of mine since last October.  It was very fun and a learning experience as a cosplayer doing this hobby seriously for about a year. I should be able to upload as much as I can be for I go back to school on less than 2 weeks! (It doesn't officially start till the 24th. I have to go to Music Camp on the 15th.) I made a schedule already to upload a certain amount everyday.

Boy time flew and my summer did too! Guess doing Summer school, helping out in church, going to Anime Expo, and playing PokémonGo helps the time go by.

Well I can say I got a good amount done this summer. Got a class taken care of,  my schedule at the most part is listed for the Fall, and gotten the chance to do first time things for cosplay. I got to know the basics so I'll keep learning in my aunt's sewing machine to get use to it. I do for sure want to spend more time when I get back from school in the winter and start little by little planning and making my first cosplay for next year.  ^^

Boy with just a few weeks til I start senior year, it sounds exciting but also  a bit terrifying.  Follow me on Instagram to check more on what I do or had done so far at kathina_gallery. (There's some recent stuff compared to here.)

Any cool things you guys did over the summer? Starting school soon or college? Let me know in the comments below. If you need so tips as a freshman in College or dorming tips, I will do my best to answer. It's going to be my 4th and last year as a Undergrad so I know a good amount of tips and experiences so far.

God bless and enjoy your summer!

Hello everyone! For those of you that know or not I attend a Christian University in Costa Mesa and it has been a very important place that God has brought me to and another home for me. I have learned so much at my time there that I know God has brought me great opportunities and also people that are God-given friends in my life.

I received news form the President of the University that "there is a bill currently before the California State Legislature. This is a call to action. California Senate Bill 1146 would significantly challenge Vanguard University’s right to continue in our Christ-centered mission of 96 years."

You might wonder and say "What is the Senate Bill 1146 and how will this Bill challenge schools like Vanguard?"

Basically, "Vanguard and other faith-based colleges and universities across the State continue to work in good faith with California lawmakers to find an agreeable compromise on the language of this legislation. If passed without amendment however, SB 1146 would have the devastating impact of eliminating faith-based higher education in California....[and it] seeks to restrict the state religious exemption that allows Vanguard and other faith-based institutions the right to operate according to our religious mission and identity. SB 1146 erodes the religious liberty of all California faith-based universities that integrate faith and learning throughout the entire campus educational experience. This means that mission-based aspects of religious colleges and universities, which include prayer in classes, chapel services, spiritual formation activities and faith-infused curriculum, as well as requiring a statement of faith for admission and requiring ministry-based service experiences would be at risk if SB 1146 is passed as is. SB 1146 represents a fundamental shift away from the State’s historic commitment to provide “educational access for all.” The choice of, and access to, a faith-based education for tens of thousands of California students would disappear."  (Vanguard University President Mike Beals)

Vanguard has had a faith-based mission since 1920 to prepare students for effective service in our communities, country, and the world. "Faith-based institutions of higher education across our state and the nation make a profound contribution to the intellectual quality and common good of our society. These contributions are possible because of our deeply held religious convictions. Our presence in society enriches it. We provide economic vitality to our communities. A Vanguard education cultivates seeds of greatness in the lives of students who graduate to pursue their vocations with excellence, strong character, and global perspective."

"SB 1146 seeks to divest us of our religious distinctives. Right now the bill is waiting to be heard by the California Assembly Higher Education Committee. It has already passed the California Senate. Action on the bill is expected as early as the week of June 20. If approved, the bill will then move to two other Assembly committees - perhaps by June 27. If passed through these committees, it will then go to a full vote before the California State Assembly, most likely in August. The best chance to stop or amend it is now, before it reaches the Assembly floor for final debate and vote."

"In its current form, SB 1146, authored by State Senator Ricardo Lara (D – Bell Gardens), seeks to restrict the state religious exemption that allows Vanguard and other faith-based institutions the right to operate according to our religious mission and identity. SB 1146 erodes the religious liberty of all California faith-based universities that integrate faith and learning throughout the entire campus educational experience. This means that mission-based aspects of religious colleges and universities, which include prayer in classes, chapel services, spiritual formation activities and faith-infused curriculum, as well as requiring a statement of faith for admission and requiring ministry-based service experiences  would be at risk if SB 1146 is passed as is."   (
Vanguard University President Mike Beals)

*There are ways to take action that President Beals gave and if you want to contribute. Feel free to see.*

Step #1 — Spread the Word.

Forward this e-mail. Send it to parents, students or alumni of faith-based colleges and universities, churches or others who value religious freedom for faith-based institutions. Anyone who has an affinity for faith-based higher education should know about this threatening bill.

Post on social media. Express your concerns about the bill on social media using the hashtag #SB1146.

Step #2 — Contact Your State Legislators.

Many legislators do not understand the impacts SB 1146 would have on faith-based Higher Education in California. Click here to find your Assembly Member.

Make a phone call to your legislator. This is the most impactful point of contact with any legislative office. When you call, simply state your name and that you reside in the Assembly Member’s district (you can share your city), and that you have strong concerns about SB 1146. Feel free to offer your reason (please stick to the points above) or no reason at all. The important message is to express your concerns about the restriction of religious freedom that SB 1146 would impose on Vanguard and all of California’s faith-based colleges and universities.

       Step #3 — Pray.

Pray for this moment in California history when religious liberty is being threatened. Pray for clarity and favor for those legislators who are standing for faith-based higher education. Pray for faith-based colleges and universities in California. Pray for Vanguard.  Our mission will remain unchanged: to pursue knowledge, cultivate character, deepen faith, and equip each student for a Spirit-empowered life of Christ-centered leadership and service.

*Even if you are not living in California, and want to take action I'm sure it would be greatly appreciated. Not only is this going to take away education for our brothers and sisters to grown in Christian based campuses but also our freedom to practice our faith! It is sad that this is happening but we can not let this right be taken from us. I would not want this to happen anywhere else in the states for those of you that studies in a Christian school or know someone who does. Thank you and God bless!

Hey guys! Hope your winter is going well and restful!  :)
As how this semester was over all, it was about the same as last semester work load wise but I enjoyed all of my classes while indeed facing challenges and seeing improvement which is something I always want to strive each semester in my talents.
My piano teacher gave me for sure challenging pieces which I was able to memorize all but one piece which is Bach's Prelude and Fugue in C minor. I knew it would be hard to get it in my head but I at least got to 1 1/2 pages memorized. If you look it up it is insanely fast, so next time I got to face my fears of songs that are fast and intimidating by taking the scary one first to memorize. I finally found one of my official favorite composers which are Chopin and definitely Beethoven. I got to learn and memorize Beethoven's famous Moonlight Sonata in C-sharp minor and I got the 1st movement memorized and I want to keep that way for a long time and I am going to learn the 2nd movement this coming semester which I am very excited about. :giggle:
As things come to a close, I got to step up on piano proficiency and get on it on my skills so I do not have to cram a lot for my Senior Year.
I can't believe how time flies and I am halfway done with Junior year of college!
Praise God for winter break!! I am doing good in the classes but there are some I'm worried grade wise and waiting fir my grades.
Well I am selling some stuff for money so here are some options.

1)6 Naruto Shippuden Dvds for $30 (first episodes) or $5 each in good condition and have not been touched for about couple of years and should not be very scratched.
2)Some necklaces I do not want and have not ever been worn. $5
3)Bracelets for a quarter each.

I accept ONLY Paypal orders to be safe. Shipping will be $2 on the DvDs and $1 on the bracelets and/or necklaces. I'm home so I can't give you a photo till I go back to school for the bracelets and necklaces. Note me if you are interested in getting anything, thank you! :)

It feels so great to be done with my second year of College and enjoying my summer! :)

It feels insane that I am halfway done with College and still looking young! This year has been topsy-turvy and a hard year for everyone in my College. I go to a private Christian College and the best decision I made from being in secular schools for a long time.

God has been very good and pouring blessings into my life that I never thought I would go through such crazy challenges. From getting my gallbladder removed last summer and going back to officer weekend for music camp with not even a week to recover, leaving me little strength to move around during music camp and dealing with not feeling left out. Having in total 3 ear infections, and fighting tinnitus on my right wrist and then my left wrist and not being able to play piano for half of the semester since I am a Music Major. I was behind other students who were working on their repertoire for this past semester and I was fighting to catch up. Other personal things like feeling part of community when I haven't been social and feeling that I belong somewhere and that people cared. Feels in general were everywhere!

I sadly did not spend a lot of time as I wish to socialize with friends and people I wanted to know more but there is still a chance for Junior Year even though I know it will be tough balancing a job at school, hw and being a Music Major. (Glad to have Aural Theory done and over with.  XD) god is good and one thing I am so grateful for is Him showing His unconditional love to me and helping me through this crazy year. I needed it a lot and I am still amazed that with His help I am still standing here today. Looking forward to more challenges that will come ahead and I am not done with my journey yet!

There is a lot I want to finish and accomplish this summer and year.

First, my license I want to get it soon before my permit expires.

Second, interring with my home church's worship team again.

Third, get a summer job while I am home.

Fourth, to get into summer school soon if there are still openings.

Fifth, practice my piano repertoire and get a good start.

Sixth, drawing and improve as much as I can with the free time I have.

Lastly balancing money, and tine to try to get one of my planned cosplays done and fully complete. I am about more than halfway done with two of them! >w<

Wow that was a lot more than what I thought to do this summer. Well you guys I hope you finish strong if you are still in school and you can do it! If you are working keep doing your best and I hope you enjoy your free time to its fullest! Summer is just around the corner!

God Bless you guys! Have fun if you are going to any anime cons! I recommend AX. ^^
